Devil May Cry Series Hits Ten Million Sales Mark

Capcom announced today that its Devil May Cry series has shipped over ten million copies worldwide.

The more recent Devil May Cry 4 managed to gain sales of 2.2 million copies, beating Devil May Cry 2 as it sold 1.6 million copies, while the first game still holds the record with 2.5 million sales.

Devil May Cry 4 achieved these sales “despite being released early in the life cycle of the current generation of systems.” said Capcom. “Capcom plans to continue developing more franchise-related products.”
