Blizzard: "We will definitely work on a console game at some point"

Blizzards J. Allen Brack confirmed in an interview with Gamautra that the developer will definitely work on a console game in the future, but need the right game before they can.

”I have two consoles at home. Sam has consoles. We’re a culture of gamers. We will definitely work on a console game at some point. I have no doubt about that. It’s just a matter of what game. What makes the most sense?” said Brack.

Blizzard hasn’t released a console game for over nine years, but you could say that they haven’t really needed to with the success of Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft, all of which are exclusive to the PC.

Lost Vikings was a game for the SNES that we enjoyed, hopefully Blizzard will bring this back at some point. What about you, do you think Blizzard should start developing some games for the console market?
