Square Enix confirms Deus Ex: Human Defiance is a game, reveal today [Update: April Fools]

Square Enix has confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Defiance is a game, despite CBS Films registering the game as a film as well. It could be that Human Defiance is a licensed tie-in to the film. The domain registration was discovered back on the 27th February.

The publisher promised an announcement later today - stay tuned.

[UPDATE: Deus Ex: Human Defiance was an actual registration for a possible game, but it fell through, so Edios Montreal repurposed the trademark into an April Fool’s joke.]
