Side-scrolling 2D dueling game Nidhogg will be released on Steam on January 13, according to a new trailer released by developer Messhof.
Alongside the announcement of the official release, the video shows off Nidhogg’s brand of tactical swordplay, with unnamed duelists facing off in a variety of different environments:
You can briefly see the game’s main menu, which promises a tournament mode, and what looks like up to 4 player multiplayer.
Mac or Linux owning wannabe Inigo Montoya’s will have to wait to see if they can get hold of the promising indie title, as there’s currently no confirmation of a release on either of those systems.
