Valve’s Steam service has been hit by a series of DDOS attacks, leaving users unable to connect to the main store page.
The news comes after EA’s Origin service was taken offline by a similiar hacker attack earlier this morning.
Two twitter users have claimed responsibility, with one even posting a screenshot of the software used.

Steam’s store page and community features are the main areas being affected, other services such as the ability to log in and download games from your existing library remain currently unaffected.
There’s been no response from Valve’s Steam support thus far, but we’ll keep an eye out for any updates.
