Sony Online Entertainment have delayed their All Access Pass $14.99 membership plan until April 29. This marks the third time the revised all-in-one MMO access package has been pushed back. It was first set to launch April 2, then delayed until April 6 and then to April 23.
Previously a subscription to just one game would cost $14.99, but the new subscription model provides access to most of SOE’s most popular MMO titles for the same price, including EverQuest, EverQuest II, DC Universe Online, PlanetSide 2 and Vanguard: Saga Of Heroes.
The news was posted on the SOE forums by a community relations employee. ”In an effort to ensure that the transition to the new All Access membership plan is as seamless as possible,” reads the post, ”we are going to be taking a little more time to test. So, we will be pushing the launch date of All Access to Tuesday, April 29th. Because of the portfolio-wide nature of this plan, this may prevent us from doing any individual game updates in EverQuest, EverQuest II, Planetside 2, and DC Universe Online. These updates will resume normally after the All Access launch. We appreciate your patience and you’ll agree that our new membership offering is worth the wait. “
