New games generally expect newer hardware. But people don't always upgrade their rig. So, you're stuck with terrible performance, stuttering and crashing, among other things. This mod attempts to make Fallout's textures less demanding for those with dated computers. It reduces texture resolution and changes some textures to use the proper compression. All without a noticeable visual quality loss. If you're running a 2010-based rig, you should consider this mod.
