Ever wanted to go back and undo something that went wrong in No Man's Sky, well past the game's regular recent autosaves? Ever get caught in a situation where the game saved your position somewhere in the landscape and unable to move? Ever get corrupted save files that ruin your ability to continue? This is the solution you absolutely need. No Man's SaveGame Manager is a program that will save copies of your game files every time the game auto-saves, ensuring that your journey won't be ruined if the game overwrites your saves with broken or problematic files.

Playing No Man's Sky on a PlayStation gamepad? Then you've no doubt noticed that when you go into the controls menu, it only contains the mappings for Xbox controller buttons for whatever reason. Either way, you can fix that with this mod. It offers you input mappings for a PS Dualshock 4 controller and Dualshock 3 controller, depending on what you use and works with a few input mapper tools as well.

Fast Actions

No Man's Sky has a somewhat annoying way about confirming all options in the game. Rather than approach something and instantly interact with it, almost everything requires you to approach, wait for a prompt, and hold the button until the interaction occurs. This mod is set towards removing this general waste of time. All actions will now occur instantly upon a button press, rather than filling a wheel before occurring.

No Screen Door Noise Fade Effect

  • 4 downloads

This mod is for those of you who get annoyed with the fade-in graphical effect that No Man's Sky employs when you're flying rapidly across a planetary surface. Rather than allow pop-in of textures and models to happen gradually, terrain morphing is instantaneous with this mod. Surfaces will appear in their procedurally generated and explorable state the moment you come in range of them rather than slowly building up to them as you get closer.

Reduced Launch Cost

Resource costs are a bite in No Man's Sky. In pretty much ever second of the journey, players will have resource costs hanging over their heads, pushing them to always be mining for new materials to keep the expedition going. If you're looking to simply reduce the cost rather than remove it outright, this is a good option. With this mod, you can modify the plutonium cost every time you launch your ship to be 50% of the original cost, 25% of the original cost, or even altogether free. It serves to adjust or remove one of the many hassles of exploring No Man's Sky's universe.

Time to take back your sanity. This mod offers a novel solution.
