Planet Zoo 2 Gameplay
Planet Zoo 2 introduces new animals, plus, for the first time, it will feature aviaries and aquariums.
Zookeepers are tasked with constructing habitats where authentic species can fully interact with their environments.
What’s more, players can now take conservation outside of their zoos, restoring natural habitats and releasing animals into Wildlife Reserves.
Each animal comes with its own needs, displaying dynamic behaviors based on how satisfied they are with their environments, courtesy of a new emotion system.
Its career mode spans the whole globe, promising different biomes. Blueprints enable quickly getting zoos up and running, while piece-by-piece construction allows fine-tuning our own original ideas as we build a network of zoos and Wildlife Reserves.
Franchise mode lets us trade animals with other players, while Sandbox mode allows us to fully unleash our creativity.
Planet Zoo 2 Story
Although it is a systems-driven sequel, Planet Zoo 2 features a background narrative that fuels our drive to set up a global network of zoos and discover the particularities of different species of animals.
We do so as members of FEN (Fauna and Ecosystems Network), whose efforts we aid throughout the sequel.
