With Sonic Forces having come out, this mod aims to bring it a little closer to Mania with the inclusion of the Sonic Forces antagonist, Infinite. Specifically, this mod overlays Heavy King in the Egg Reverie boss battle with Infinite himself. Be aware, this mod requires the Sonic Mania Mod Loader in order to load and play properly.

It takes the Competitive Mode and swaps the announcer with that of the Smash Bros. announcer. Let that luxuriously booming voice move you to action as you take off on your way to the races!

Metal Sonic Kai (Knuckles' Chaotix)

Knuckles' Chaotix was not a great game, but it did bring about some great things in the Mobius universe. We got Knuckles' crew, some new enemies, and a cool variant of Metal Sonic, namely Kai. Now this red painted form of Metal Sonic comes to your Sonic Mania game as a repaint for the normal Metal Sonic. He's not as big as his Chaotix counterpart, but he's still pretty good looking in the dark red colors. Be aware, you'll need the Sonic Mania Mod Loader in order for this mod to load and play properly.

Chaotix Knuckles

Chaotix didn't have a lot of great things going for it gameplay-wise, but it did introduce players to a lot of cool characters and feature a lot of neat art. Now you can get Knuckles in his full Chaotix splendour, carrying his ring and all (without the awful tether). All of his sprite animations from Knuckles' Chaotix come intact with this neat and nostalgic mod. Be aware, you'll need the Sonic Mania Mod Loader in order for this mod to load and play properly.

Knuckles Over Sonic

Some of you out there love Knuckles much more than Sonic, but if you find yourself wanting to have all of Sonic's abilities on a Knuckles playthrough, you're in luck! This mod will sprite swap Knuckles over Sonic in a Sonic or Sonic and Tails game. You'll lose out on Knuckles' glide and climb, but you'll be able to shield and drop dash as your favorite red echidna!

This is just a lovely touch of nostalgia to take you back to the good old days of Sonic. Essentially, what this mod does is swap out the HUD with one based on the Sonic 3 and Sonic Overture styles. If you want things to look just a little more classic than they are already, you can't go wrong with this HUD. Be aware, you'll need the Sonic Mania Mod Loader in order for this mod to load and play.
